ClicTic believes that the data generated through a client's business should remain accessible, useful and under appropriate client control. This principle shapes the architecture, contracts and commercial model behind every Merlin product.
Customer service
ClicTic customers have direct access to the team responsible for the technology. Support is provided by people who understand the products and the sectors they serve — not offshore call centres or automated routing.
UK and Isle of Man
ClicTic is registered in the Isle of Man and operates across the UK. The company's directors, technology team and customer relationships are UK-based. ClicTic is not a reseller or intermediary — it owns and develops the technology it sells.
Strategic data partner
The Ellanstone relationship
ClicTic maintains a strategic relationship with Ellanstone, a separate organisation that provides data value discovery, data governance and Data Asset Foundation readiness services.
ClicTic focuses on the technology and operational environment behind Merlin. Where a client wants to explore the wider strategic value of its business data, Ellanstone can provide a separate and optional assessment covering data maturity, governance, commercial use cases, investment readiness and potential Data Asset Foundation suitability.
Ellanstone is a separate organisation. Its services are independent from ClicTic and Merlin. Client data is not automatically transferred to Ellanstone. Client consent is required, appropriate legal agreements must be in place, and data protection law continues to apply.
