The Ellanstone relationship
ClicTic focuses on the technology and operational environment behind Merlin. Where a client wants to explore the wider strategic value of its business data, Ellanstone can provide a separate and optional assessment covering data maturity, governance, commercial use cases, investment readiness and potential Data Asset Foundation suitability.
Ellanstone is a separate organisation. Its services are independent from ClicTic and Merlin, and are only engaged with the informed agreement of the client.
Important clarifications
Client data is not automatically transferred to Ellanstone. Client consent is required.
Appropriate legal agreements must be in place before any data is shared.
Data protection law continues to apply throughout any engagement.
Ellanstone is a separate legal entity from ClicTic.
Commercial value from data cannot be guaranteed and will vary by organisation.
A Data Asset Foundation is not suitable for every organisation.
Legal, valuation and corporate service specialists may be required as part of any wider data value process.
